Christel Ceraline

I am an Afro-Caribbean children’s book writer who was born and raised in France. At the age of 19, I decided to visit the UK for three weeks, but that visit extended into more than 20 years. I now live in the UK.

I work as a part-time Christian counsellor and for the rest of my time, a librarian in a primary school. Books have always been a huge part of my life.

I am a mother of two very beautiful daughters and I enjoy every minute of it. My second upcoming children's book, “Beautiful Days,” is inspired and dedicated to my younger daughter after she fought a serious illness. I would say that writing helped me focus on what the future would hold for my daughter.
